Do you live near hens? If so, you may have noticed an uptick in production this weekend. Rumor has it that thousands of years ago, some birds were known to lay golden eggs. These chicken cousins were sought after by giants and the average size alike. Today, with all of the talk of nutrition and free range poultry benefit, current eggs may just be as valuable as those eggs of yore. Chickens love sunshine, and happy chickens lay more eggs. Next time you run into a free range hen, would you please give her a thumbs up? Or would that be a chicken paws up?
