What A Fair!
Today’s morning show was our first back following the 2014 Nevada County Fair…and I was pretty spent.
Three days, and more than 13 hours at this year’s fair, proved to be more than enough for me. Saturday afternoon I took my family to the fair. My wife spent more than six hours assisting us in the gazebo, while my daughter hung with friends and checked in periodically. We had a great time broadcasting live from the gazebo this year, and getting the opportunity to greet our listeners.
I had the chance to sample my favorite fair food around 8P.M., the stuffed baked potato. Shortly there after I had my first corn dog. The food was great, and many thanks to the vendors who dropped by delicious fair munchies throughout the night.
I want to thank our listeners also for taking the time to stop by and fill out our listener surveys. After crunching the numbers, it appears that about 99% of you had positive things to say about our FM programming, including our morning show. We appreciate all of you very much.
Congratulations to this morning’s Lee Ann Womack ticket winner Eva. Have a great time in October when she comes to the Center For The Arts.
Until tomorrow then!
