Dave Bear was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN where he thought his future would be in photographic arts. After moving to Craig, CO and managing a camera store, he started his career in radio part time at KRAI-AM and KXRC-FM. Dave moved his family to Gridley, California and began working for KUBA in 1986 where he currently hosts the morning sports and the afternoon show. Dave also hosts the morning show from 5:30 to 10am on Star 94.1 with Hollie Grimaldi Flores. His interests include most sports, home improvements, woodworking, and creating hand crafted custom pens. Dave and his wife, Donna, enjoy their large family. If you were to ask Dave how he does it, he would say he lives by these Five Simple Rules To Being Happy; 1. Free your heart from hatred 2. Free your mind from worries 3. Live simply 4. Give more and 5. Expect less.
