The Sutter-Yuba Mosquito & Vector Control District, in an effort to minimize the spread of West Nile Virus in the Sutter-Yuba area, will begin ultra-low volume spraying in agricultural areas of the district beginning on Monday, May 26th. Spraying by truck-mounted spray machines will be performed every Monday and Thursday evenings starting at sunset and lasting 3-4 hours. Ultra-low volume aerial spraying for the agricultural areas west of Yuba City on Tuesday evenings and north of Marysville on Wednesday evenings beginning on Tuesday, May 27th and Wednesday, May 28th respectively. Spraying will be done every week starting at sunset and lasting 2-3 hours. |
